At AHR, we understand retention is an area of concern for many health care providing facilities. Our investigation into the present staffing community has revealed that supplemental staff are leaving for increased pay, better benefits, and overall better security. We address all three issues in a way that makes us different by offering top quality benefits with low deductable options for insurance, pay plans that reward supplemental staff for loyalty and service. We also offer options to “block book” shifts which gives both the supplemental staff and the facility security in knowing there will be the needed consistency for optimal healthcare.
- Full and Part-time opportunities for physicians with a variety of backgrounds. Flexible schedules with no minimums. Currently there are Locum Tenens and Moonlighting positions also available with American Family Care clinics in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida, along with AFC centers in 26 states, and Locum Tenens positions all across the nation.
- Incentives through increased pay for supplemental staff and raises based on performance and length of service. Based on our market research, some state agency supplemental staff have not experienced a pay increase in over 5 years. AHR will establish an incentive plan with scheduled pay increases based on length and quality of service. We will implement these plans on “day one” if awarded the contract.
- Better benefits which include affordable, quality insurance. Just offering insurance is not enough, however Quality insurance with low deductibles that is competitive with other health care facilities will help stem the flow of supplemental staff to other jobs with better benefits. With our Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Alabama optional health care benefit program, supplemental staff can have the security and stability they need for their families with very low deductibles.
- Loyalty and Referral programs. We offer incentives... because they work. With many hiring freezes that are now in effect, referral programs allow for another recruiting tool that is effective and is motivating. AHR has programs in place that allow us to pay individuals that refer a supplemental staff. This will be an effective addition to the programs that are already in effect with the state facilities.
